Bopha Phorn is a Cambodian independent journalist who has reported for the The Cambodia Daily and other publications. In 2013, she won the International Women’s Media Foundation’s Courage in Journalism Award for her work investigating claims of illegal logging in a protected area of the Cambodian jungle.

Now an award-winning journalist and author, she has written a number of books, including When the War Was Over: Cambodia and the Khmer Rouge Revolution.
